CitySoft Solutions insures that the confidentiality of the customer information is safeguarded through a strong legal framework, logical security practices and company IT policies.

Legal Framework

CitySoft Solutions insures that all Intellectual Property is vested in the customer at all times by having all employees, contractors and affiliates sign an IP Rights Transfer and Confidentiality Agreement which is attached to their Employee Agreement form with CitySoft Solutions. At the organizational level, CitySoft Solutions jointly enter legal agreements with clients with a clear definition in terms of confidentiality, intellectual property ownership (vested with the client) and work for hire.

All information that is sensitive including confidential business data of the client is restricted to a limited level of personnel. Such information is classified as “CitySoft Solutions Confidential”.

All CitySoft Solutions Confidential documents are secured in locked cabinets accessible only to the higher level management. The individual project details are accessible only to higher level management as well as the client manager who oversees the communication and progress of the individual project. When stored in computers, such documents or source code are protected by logical access control mechanisms such as document passwords, folder access passwords, and computer access passwords. When stored on a server, latest firewalls and encryption, along with multi-level passwords allow only the higher level management to access the information.

Logical Security

CitySoft Solutions’ IT security manual prescribes processes and procedures related to logical security administration. CitySoft Solutions has implemented policy and processes for managing and administering access to all CitySoft Solutions data, information and networks.

All hardware is installed and configured by the IT Systems Administrators (ITSA) of the CitySoft Solutions team. No external software can be installed on the machines without ITSA permission and presence.

All access is on a “need-to-know” basis, and is explicitly authorized. The base philosophy of providing access is that ‘everything is forbidden unless expressly permitted’. Our related security practices ensure that all CitySoft Solutions Confidential data and information is secured from leaving the premises electronically or physically.
